For a healthy sweet Summer treat* take a 100% unsweetened dark chocolate bar (Baker’s or Scharffenberger are good), add 4 little drops of vanilla (Scharffenberger already has vanilla so no need to add it) and 1 or 1 1/2 tablespoons of Monkfruit sugar or coconut sugar (both are absorbed by the body as fruit/fructose not glucose like refined sugar) in a small pot and place on the stove at very low heat (keep at very low heat at all times or the chocolate will burn). As the chocolate melts stir the sugar and vanilla until you have a smooth consistency. If the chocolate starts to bubble take the pot off the stove to let it cool a bit and continue to stir.
Then pour the melted chocolate on cherries, strawberries, raspberries, blackberries and/or grapes (be sure to clean the fruit thoroughly before pouring the chocolate on it). This is a decadent sweet treat that you don’t have to feel guilty for eating!
